Where the California coast touches Mexico, San Diego is the largest protected harbor south of San Francisco.  Cruising through San Diego Bay will provide you with opportunities to dock at some of the finest restaurants as well as attend outdoor concerts. Cruise by the USS Midway and the Star of India on your way to Coronado Island.    Miles of beaches, beautiful cliffs, excellent fishing, and considerably less traffic than LA, San Diego offers a few things that most ocean-based destination clubs do not.  In addition to popular tourist destinations (SeaWorld, Legoland and Balboa Park), San Diego boasts one of the world’s greatest zoo’s and over 30 museums.  They also have plenty of waterfront shopping. Walk through Seaport Village and Old Town for one of a kind shops and eateries, or head up the coast to La Jolla for upscale designer boutiques.
